Orana Park
Tawa and Kea class have been learning about animals, their needs and habitats. To find out more we visited Orana Park. We enjoyed a fantastic day, but I will wait for the children to do their own writing about the trip to let you in on the details! I will say though that I was really impressed by the standard of behaviour and the quality of the questions. You guys are an awesome bunch! We couldn't have done this trip without our spectacular parent helpers whose efforts made the day run so smoothly. Kai pai!

I would love to know what your favourite part of the day was and why? My favourite part of the day was feeding the giraffes. I had no idea we would be that close to them and they are such beautiful creatures. It was so cool to see all the smiles on your faces!
ReplyDeleteMy favorite part of the day was also feeding the giraffes as i didn't know how big they were till they got very close, i also loved seeing the gorillas that made my day being new to orana park and how well behaved the children were around the animals that needed to be completely quiet =)
ReplyDeleteSeeing all of your Orana Park photos and hearing about your learning has really made me want to make a visit there too. Thanks for sharing.
